EVENT 6 - PASS LINE BETTING

The following pages will give you some betting events that I use at the casino craps table with a fair amount of success. I will use lower dollar or chip values so you can learn to enter the game with smaller amounts at risk. Having given the dealer $200 and received your chips you are now ready for your first bet. I will wait until the shooter makes a point number on his or her come out roll, a seven on the first roll for a win will tell me to bet a pass line bet on the next roll. After a shooter makes his pass line number and is ready for his second pass line roll I will now place a bet on the pass line. Should the shooter establish another pass line number I will place six dollars each on the 6 and 8. I now have ten rolls of the dice working for me and whatever the number of rolls for my pass line number allows. Should a place bet 6 or 8 appear I will take a place bet 5 with my winnings, I now have 14 rolls of the dice and my pass line working against the 7 “seven”, which has 6 “ six “ rolls of the dice against me. Should a 7 out be rolled we will lose $22 and our pass line odds, however we are in the game to aggressively beat the house and with a very few numbers rolled in our favor we would soon be playing with house money. There are times when a player continues to roll numbers and make his pass line bets, when this occurs we would do well to increase our odds on pass line numbers and press our place line bets. when a person is in the middle of a winning session rolling the dice he will some times roll a 7 “seven” in between pass line numbers, should this take place I will raise all bets if operating on house money.

We must always place a $1 bet on the any craps line along with our pass line bet as this would serve as insurance against a craps roll taking our pass line bet on the come out roll.

When playing the pass line and adding place line numbers we should try to be aware of the odds against the numbers we are playing. Remember there are 36 rolls of the dice and the 6-8 gives you 10 rolls to win against 6 rolls of sevens to lose. Six comes with 5-1. 1-5. 4-2.2.4 and 3-3 eight comes with 6-2 2-6 5-3 3-5 and 4-4, 10 rolls of the dice for 6-8 against 6 rolls seven out are very good odds.

“Betting procedures” We try to work our bets to our advantage. Example more numbers and odds on pass line when numbers are being made. We now come to an event in the next roll of the dice should the shooter be making numbers.
